"APEC PetroTechnic Higher College" LLP is a modern cutting-edge educational institution in Atyrau, training qualified and competitive specialists for the oil, gas, and industrial sectors. International Recognition & Standards
NCCER Accreditation
The college holds the official status of an accredited NCCER training center (National Center for Construction Education and Research, USA). The college's facilities, methodology, and staff meet global industrial standards. Graduates of certified programs are entered into the international registry, and their credentials are recognized by leading multinational corporations.
WorldSkills Standards
The college's educational programs are integrated with international WorldSkills standards across multiple skill areas (industrial automation, electrical installations, web design, mechatronics, etc.).

1,400+ Students
More than 1,400 students study at the college. Education is funded through state grants, self-financed basis, as well as targeted scholarship grants of the "Kazenergy" program (sponsored by NCOC).
80+ Qualified Faculty
High quality of education is ensured by over 80 qualified instructors, including 35 master's degree holders, as well as candidates of sciences and PhDs. Faculty members regularly undergo industrial internships and professional development (including international experience) in cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence tools.
College History
Foundation
By state initiative in 2011, a program to create world-class colleges began. Atyrau, the key oil and gas region, became the prime location for this flagship project.
International Partnership
A new college opened in Atyrau, training oil and gas professionals according to international standards in partnership with the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT, Canada).
Partnership with TCO
Launch of cooperation with Tengizchevroil LLP. Opening safety courses across 7 areas in 3 languages; APEC instructors certified according to TCO and KPGV standards.
Rebranding
Renamed to "APEC PetroTechnic Higher Technical School" LLP.
Campus Expansion
Renamed to "APEC PetroTechnic Higher College" and successfully accredited by KazWeld. Launched "Welding School" with BI Group. First graduating class received Kazakhstani diplomas and SAIT Polytechnic (Canada) international certificates.
First Welding School Graduation
First graduation from the Welding School! Joint training center with CCC established, training in 5 specialties: electricians, welders, carpenters, scaffolders, and pipefitters. Online safety courses launched.
IWCF Accreditation
APEC PetroTechnic reached new heights! Successfully achieved international IWCF accreditation. Students gained pathways to accelerated bachelor studies at KBTU and specializations at MCAST (Malta).
International Recognition
Expanded academic programs with Automation & Control and Information Systems. Successfully completed Phase 1 of OPITO accreditation. Established the Educational & Methodological Association for Oil & Gas Production.
Mechatronics Program
Active expansion of educational programs. Work performed for NCCER and IWCF accreditations. New "Mechatronics" specialty launched.
Continued Partnership with TCO
Contract renewal for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project and launch of Phase 11 on the college campus.
